Story of Insupro

In 2002, Insupro was founded by Jeffrey Chen.  

Background:

Insupro was approved by CIRC(China Insurance Regulatory Commission) in 2002 to set up an independent insurance agency.

2001 was the year of China's entry into WTO. With an aim to build up the insurance intermediary market, the Chinese insurance regulator decided to free up the private ownership of insurance intermediary to meet the competition from the international players.

After 2001, a number of private owned insurance intermediaries were established in the major cities of China.

Between 2002 and 2005, the business was slow but we have survived and learned from our mistakes.

2006 and 2007 was an important year for Insupro.

In 2006, we have launched the property management liability insurance in Beijing which proves to be a good product and welcomed by many clients.

Also in 2007, we have launched the employment benefit practice. We believe EB is an emerging market with a lot of potentials in China

Flex Benefit System was a happy incident
In 2008, a client approached us and asked if we can take care of a voluntary insurance program under which their 3,000 staff could enroll their family members for a voluntary medical insurance program.

Back in 2008, there is no IT system or web solution easily available in China local market to support this HR process.(Apart from an international HR firm offered our client an all English system with a very high rate.)

Thanks for our early years experiences on internet, database and IT technology, we have worked out an internet based web-system in 3 weeks. The client was very happy and the project proves to be a success.  

Between 2009 and 2010, we have signed more and more contracts of flex benefit and benefit administration.

All systems of Insupro have a common features. We developed the system to meet our client's needs.

In 2011, we have launched the Claim and Benefit@insupro System.

Again, the idea to develop such a system is all about how we can help our client as well as our stakeholders to work together to make benefit administration an easier job.
